Axis
Project Date: January 2011
Client: Saginomiya
As they can be viewed in the same line of sight, these meeting room windows were designed to directly relate to the Continuum entrance window. If the Continuum window is looking down onto a the tangle of misaligned concentric circles, these widows view the same imagined linear structure from inside it, with the same circles now surrounding you as if you’d turned them on there axis. The tonal fade in the glass from intense cobalt through to almost clear at knee height is to allow privacy for the users of the meeting rooms whilst allowing those outside to see at a glance whether the room is in use.
